Role Description

This is a hybrid role for a Sr. Business Analyst / Sr. Project Manager located in London. The candidate will be fully embedded into the team of our most important Pharma client, where influencing without authority is critical for developing and validating a business case to transform from a "generalist" to "specialised" operating model.

You will be responsible for rapidly refining business processes, engagement channels, roles and responsibilities, and team structure, then developing and executing an end-to-end transition plan to shift from the Current Operating Model (COM) to the Target Operating Model (TOM), which will impact multiple EMEA 'operating companies'.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrable expertise in strategic servant-leadership and practical hands-on BA capabilities, strong communication and stakeholder management skills, and rapid rapport building talent with a widely distributed team.

Qualifications (minimum requirements)

  • Combined 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
    and
    Project Manager
  • Background in the pharmaceutical industry or consulting sector
  • Proficient in Analytical Skills and Business Analysis
  • Experience in rapidly understanding and improving Business Processes and designing COMs/TOMs
  • Proven Project Management and Change Management skills, capable of developing relationships at all levels, and adjust leadership styles gain the most of supporting roles
  • Analytical acumen, capable of extracting Research/Data insights to inform decisions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts clearly to all levels
  • Entrepreneurial acumen, capable to discover new projects and business opportunities
  • Has at least one active professional project management certification (e.g. Scrum, SAFe, Prince 2, PMI, APM, or equivalent)

Key responsibilities

  • Define the change management strategy, develop the transition plan, then lead the transformation
  • Setup the programme up for success, ensuring stakeholder buy-in throughout, including ongoing stakeholder communications, at all levels
  • Manage risks, issues and dependencies, proactively reducing programme and impact to business continuity
  • Facilitate workshops and perform stakeholder interviews to elicit, validate, and communicate your understanding of business opportunities or challenges
  • Apply fresh perspectives and creative ideas to analytical and strategic thinking to understand complex problems and co-create and co-lead solution implementations
  • Synthesise and codify complex data and information to a framework or model or one-pager that can be communicated in a simple manner
  • Coach stakeholders on industry best practices that transform mindsets, skills, knowledge, and behaviours required to successfully achieve their objectives
  • Build and foster stakeholder relationships and be an active agent of Crackle business development and growth
  • Manage finances and programme status tracking, providing regular burndowns and status updates

About you

You have a proven experience as a Business Analyst
and
Project Manager, either within the pharmaceutical industry or consulting sector. You are adept in providing best-in-class professional services with a track record of delivering change and transformation in multi-country organisation.

Leveraging your strong Business Analys skills, you are familiar with immersing yourself into new business domains and quickly absorbing business processes, operating models, and organisational structures. You have experience in change management and can quickly form an opinion of business challenges and opportunity areas, gather key insight to back your proposals to address these, and collaborate and communicate these at the right level, at the right time, to ensure buy-in from the bottom-up and top-down.

Relying on your Project Manager skills, you are comfortable in translating your change management strategic into an execution plan, ensuring you have the right mix of talent and their capacity available to you to achieve each milestone. You embrace the servant-leadership mindset and know when it's critical to direct the team or when you're required to roll-up your sleeves to get the job at-hand done, as you enjoy leaning into your diversified skills, no matter the shape or size.

Your prior exposure to strategic transformations, means that you can distil a clear vision, set G&Os, define success measures, develop a roadmap, and transition teams from their Current Operating Model (COM) to a Target Operating Model (TOM). As you come from a consultancy background, and are constantly looking out for business development opportunities, based on your fundamental comprehension of key client needs and things that could hinder them. You have entrepreneurial instincts allow you to be an effective business consultant who comfortably navigates ambiguity, quickly learns and adapts, and confidently influences without authority to gain the most from stakeholder interactions.
