We are seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Setter/Operator to join our Laser cutting and press brake team.

We operate three press brakes, producing parts for our in-house fabrication team and our sub-contract laser sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Read and understand technical drawing and specification sheets
  • Identify and label parts to send to next production stage
  • Maintain high quality products
  • Operate a Bystronic press brake
  • Produce, setup and correct press brake programs
  • Work in an efficient and timely manner
  • FLT advantageous
  • Adherence to Health and Safety rules and regulations
  • Responsible for cleanliness and housekeeping standards in own area.
  • Reduce wastage by using raw materials and consumable items carefully.
  • Other duties as required by Supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience working on press brakes.
  • Ability to read and work from technical engineering drawings
  • Knowledge of a variety of metals, mild steel. Aluminium, stainless steel
  • Able to set-up, check quality of own work and change programmes to suit technical drawings

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £14.90-£17.75 per hour
