Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bakery Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the daily operations of our bakery, ensuring that all products are prepared and presented to the highest standards. You will work closely with our skilled bakers and culinary team to assist in the production of a variety of baked goods, while maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and baking of various bread, pastries, and Cakes.
  • Maintain food safety standards by adhering to hygiene practices and proper food handling procedures.
  • Support the kitchen team in food production tasks, including measuring ingredients.
  • Keep the bakery area clean and tidy, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during busy periods.

Skills

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or bakery setting is preferred but not essential.
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices.
  • Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
