Teeny Feet Day Nursery in Chatham requires 2 qualified and dedicated Nursery Practitioners with Level 3 in Childcare Qualification to work 4 days a week with Toddlers / pre-school children.

The position start 1st of December 2025

The successful candidate will have opportunity and training to further their career.

As a member of the nursery staff the post holder will take shared responsibility for the planning, recording, implementation and evaluation of an inclusive early year's curriculum in accordance with EYFS.

Other duties include providing high quality care, planning stimulating activities based on children's individual needs, being a key worker, recording, implementation and evaluation of an inclusive early year's curriculum in accordance with EYFS, tracking / monitoring the children's progress through observation and writing children's progress reports.

The successful applicants must have previous experience of working in Early Years with excellent knowledge and understanding of the EYFS Birth – 5 Matters and it's current legislation.

Be part of a team, be a good team player and be able to work in partnership with parents, involving and informing them on the progress of their child / children.

The person will ensure the children feel safe and secure and provide opportunities for them to learn both indoors and outdoors.

You must also have good written and verbal communication skills as well as an extensive knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding children's legislations.

The ability to provide a safe, high-quality care and education for children, which meets the needs and interest of the child is essential.

The candidates will ideally hold a Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding and Food Safety Certificate. They must be caring, kind, trustworthy, hardworking and be able to work well in a team.

Work experience in a childcare setting is essential.

Job Type: Part-time 4 days per week. 7.30 – 6 on on rota basis of 6 -8 hours per day.

(No term time only)

The successful candidate must be in the position to start in December 2025.
