Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Manager to lead our store operations. The successful candidate will oversee daily activities, manage staff, and ensure excellent customer service. Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the retail team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Supervise daily store operations, including stock management, merchandising, and visual presentation.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and optimise store performance.
  • Manage staffing schedules, recruit new team members, and oversee training programmes.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service through effective communication and phone etiquette.
  • Organise stock replenishment, inventory control, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Foster a positive working environment that encourages teamwork, leadership, and professional development.

Skills

  • Proven management experience within a retail setting, including supervising teams.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and manage performance effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous.
  • Organisational skills with a keen eye for detail in merchandising and administrative tasks.
  • Proficient in sales management techniques and customer relationship management.
  • Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in visual merchandising, stock control, and administrative responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle phone calls professionally with good phone etiquette. This role is ideal for a motivated individual eager to advance their career within retail management while fostering a positive shopping environment for customers and staff alike.

Rate of pay will be discussed during the interview and will be dependant on previous experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
