About The Team
The Process Safety team forms part of our RPS Risk major accident hazard safety team of over 50 staff, providing safety advice to clients in a range of high risk and highly regulated industries.

What You Will Be Doing
- Experience of facilitating hazard study workshops including HAZOP/HAZID/ALARP/LOPA/FMEA.
- Experience of leading the delivery of safety projects, ensuring completion on budget and to client satisfaction.
- Develop delivery of COMAH Safety Reports and conduct formal safety assessments, including quantitative risk assessments and occupied building risk assessments.
- Consequence, risk modelling, functional safety and machinery safety project scopes.
- Support opportunities for business and service development to drive growth.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships and operational frameworks with clients.
- Mentor junior members of the team.
Who We Are Looking For
- Experienced in process safety techniques, e.g. HAZID, HAZOP, QRA, ALARP, CBA, OBRA, CFD, LOPA, COMAH.
- Possess knowledge of relevant UK regulations and standards, with the ability to apply them, also familiarity with other regulatory regimes.
- Proficient in technical report writing.
- Strong Leadership and teamwork skills.
Qualifications
- A degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Control/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Working towards becoming a Chartered Engineer.
