About The Team
The Process Safety team forms part of our RPS Risk major accident hazard safety team of over 50 staff, providing safety advice to clients in a range of high risk and highly regulated industries.

What You Will Be Doing

• Experience of facilitating hazard study workshops including HAZOP/HAZID/ALARP/LOPA/FMEA.
• Experience of leading the delivery of safety projects, ensuring completion on budget and to client satisfaction.
• Develop delivery of COMAH Safety Reports and conduct formal safety assessments, including quantitative risk assessments and occupied building risk assessments.
• Consequence, risk modelling, functional safety and machinery safety project scopes.
• Support opportunities for business and service development to drive growth.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships and operational frameworks with clients.
• Mentor junior members of the team.

Who We Are Looking For

• Experienced in process safety techniques, e.g. HAZID, HAZOP, QRA, ALARP, CBA, OBRA, CFD, LOPA, COMAH.
• Possess knowledge of relevant UK regulations and standards, with the ability to apply them, also familiarity with other regulatory regimes.
• Proficient in technical report writing.
• Strong Leadership and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• A degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Control/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Working towards becoming a Chartered Engineer.
