Press Brake Setter Operator, including CNC Plasma at QMS Bardon Hill, one of the world's leaders in the field. Excellent Salary up to £15.00 per hour (inclusive of shift premium), plus other benefits.

We are European leaders in OEM manufacturing of crushers and crushing plant, suppliers of spare and wear parts for the worldwide quarrying industry, and maintenance experts for crushing plant throughout the UK.

Working within the Fabrication Shop based at our Bardon Hill head office site, the Press Brake Setter Operator will be required to set & operate our Amada press brakes.

Successful candidates have at least one years' previous experience working a CNC Press Brake Setter Operator, ideally on an Amada brake press. The role will also include operation of the CNC Plasma, experience of CNC Plasma is therefore desirable, but not essential, as full training will be provided.

  • Working from engineering drawings.
  • Positive attitude
  • A keen eye for detail.
  • Self-starting and methodical.
  • Qualified FLT counterbalance is desirable but not essential
  • Experience of lifting and slinging operations using an overhead gantry crane desirable but not essential.

In addition to working as a Press Brake Setter Operator you will be crossed trained in the use of a Plasma Cutter.

Late shift 2.15pm-00.30am Monday to Wednesday, 2.15pm-00.15am Thursday (38.75/w)
