Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Van Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting as part of daily operations. Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a van to transport goods to designated locations.
  • Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
  • Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and clients regarding delivery schedules and requirements.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
  • Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including heavy lifting and inventory management.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
  • Previous experience as a van driver or in a similar delivery role is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and clients.
  • Experience in warehouse operations is an advantage.
  • Capability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends if necessary.
