Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for clients and customers. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming in designated areas.
  • Ensure all surfaces are sanitised and maintained to high standards of cleanliness.
  • Handle cleaning supplies and equipment safely and responsibly.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to client requests or concerns.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure satisfaction with cleaning services.
  • Occasionally drive to various locations as required for cleaning assignments.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable manner.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • A valid driving licence is advantageous for this position.
  • Attention to detail and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 6 per week
