Mobile Security Officer – T3 Security

Location: Seaton Burn, Newcastle upon Tyne

We are currently seeking a Mobile Security Officer to join our team based at our head office in Seaton Burn, Newcastle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and operating CCTV systems
  • Handling telephone and computer systems
  • Carrying out mobile patrols (by car and on foot)
  • Responding to alerts and incidents
  • Incident reporting and recording
  • Access control duties
  • Locking/unlocking of various buildings
  • Site checks and welfare visits

What We're Looking For

  • Valid SIA Licence (DS/SG essential)
  • Preferably hold a valid CCTV SIA Licence also
  • Full clean UK driving licence (held for a minimum of 2 years)
  • Computer literate with good communication skills
  • Excellent observation skills and strong attention to detail
  • Vigilant, reliable, and able to work under pressure
  • Must be able to provide a 5-year work history

About the Role

This is a varied position covering a range of scheduled, planned, and reactive tasks across a 24-hour period, including:

  • Opening/closing sites and retail/business parks
  • Property inspections
  • Mobile patrols
  • Emergency response (Fire/Intruder/CCTV)
  • Student lockouts
