Lusty Glaze is a private beach resort nestled on the edge of Newquay, and we're looking for a passionate, experienced events professional to join our close-knit crew on a 6-month maternity cover contract. If you've ever dreamed of running unforgettable weddings, epic live music nights, and vibrant beachside gatherings, all with the ocean as your backdrop. This is your moment.

Think barefoot luxury meets high-energy hospitality. We're a family-run beach resort with a packed calendar of weddings, events, and celebrations. From intimate ceremonies in the sand to full-blown beach festivals, every day here is different , and every event is special. It sounds like a cliché, but it really is an awesome place to spend your working day.
You'll be right at the heart of it all:
- Planning and delivering events from first enquiry to final cheers.
- Working closely with couples, artists, suppliers, and our awesome team.
- Keeping things smooth behind the scenes while soaking up the buzz on the beach.

What makes you amazing?
You're a natural host, a confident organiser, and a calm presence in the chaos. You've got at least two years' experience in events or hospitality, and you know how to juggle multiple tasks without dropping the ball. You're friendly, flexible, and ready to dive in headfirst. You've also got a quiet knack for connecting with people and helping them see the value in what we offer. A gentle touch when it comes to guiding enquiries and turning interest into bookings, without ever feeling pushy.
You'll thrive here if you:

- Know your way around a busy hospitality environment.

The Details
- Full-time, 6 month maternity cover contract.
- Varying hours including evenings, weekends & bank holidays.
- Interviews held in person at Lusty Glaze.
