About our client
We are partnering with a leading European private investment firm to hire an Investment Manager for its London-based private credit team, which manages approximately $11bn in assets. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level investment professional to gain hands-on experience across direct lending and bespoke credit solutions, typically deploying tickets of €30–400m to Western European mid-market businesses, within a highly regarded and long-term focused platform.
What the job involves
- Assess new investment opportunities, review due diligence, and conduct credit analysis
- Build operating and credit models to support investment decisions
- Assist with deal structuring, review documentation, and lead closing workstreams
- Monitor ongoing investments, prepare reports, and provide updates to stakeholders
- Maintain relationships with sponsors, advisers, management teams, and diligence providers
- Collaborate closely with the private credit team, investment committee, and other internal functions
Who we are looking for
- Several years of leveraged finance experience (private credit fund, bank, or debt advisory/restructuring)
- Strong credit judgement, analytical skills, and financial modelling ability
- Experience with deal processes, legal documentation, and portfolio monitoring
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of leveraged finance markets
- Additional European language skills (e.g., Swedish, Danish, Dutch) are a plus
