Job Title: Security Officer (Female Applicants Only)

Location: Midlands

Hours: Full-time, shift-based (07:00–19:00 and 19:00–07:00)

About the Role

We are seeking a professional and highly presentable Female Security Officer to join our expanding logistics portfolio across the Midlands.

This is a frontline position, excellent customer service, and a proactive approach to ensuring the safety and security of our sites, staff, and visitors.

Please note: This position is open to female applicants only, in accordance with Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010, due to the nature of the duties involved — including the requirement to conduct searches of female individuals.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct regular foot patrols and site inspections to maintain a safe and secure environment.

Carry out searches of female individuals in line with company policy and legal requirements

Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and emergencies

Maintain accurate records, logs, and incident reports

Provide a visible deterrent and deliver excellent customer service at all times

Support colleagues, site management, and visitors in maintaining operational standards

Person Specification

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

· Professional, confident, and courteous demeanour

· Physically fit and able to undertake patrols and searches as required

· Smart appearance and high standard of personal presentation

· Reliable, punctual, and committed to high performance standards

Essential Requirements

· Valid SIA Security Licence

· Minimum of 1 year's experience in a frontline security role (preferably within a warehouse or logistics environment)

· Right to work in the UK

· Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating day/night pattern

· Own transport and flexibility regarding shift patterns and locations
