As part of our continued expansion, we are looking for motivated and hands-on Anaerobic Digestion Plant Operators to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to build a rewarding long-term career in the renewable energy sector.

The Role

As an Anaerobic Digestion Plant Operator, you'll play a key role in keeping our anaerobic digestion plants running efficiently and safely. Every day will bring something new—this is a fast-paced environment where your work directly impacts productivity and sustainability.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring all plant processes via visual inspection and PLC systems, making fine adjustments to optimise performance.
• Carrying out basic maintenance on plant components according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Recording data, completing checklists, and reporting to the Production Manager daily.
• Supporting environmental monitoring, including drainage systems, leachate, and digestate control.
• Assisting with loading, unloading, housekeeping, and operating plant machinery (tele-handlers, forklifts).
• Supporting the Engineering team to ensure quick, efficient repairs.
• Following strict Health & Safety procedures at all times.
• Working on a 4-on/4-off shift pattern (12-hour shifts) days and nights.

About You

• Are prepared to work in an industrial/agricultural outdoor environment.

Essential Requirements

• Industrial or agricultural work experience.
• Confidence with computers and mechanical systems.
• Experience operating plant machinery (tele-handler / forklift licence).
• Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.

Desirable (but not essential)

• Previous experience working in an Anaerobic Digestion Plant or renewable energy environment.

• Competitive salary: £27,000 – £32,000 D.O.E
