Pipefitter (Sub-Contract)

Role Description

This is a contract role for a Pipefitter at Telford Compressed Air Services Ltd. The Pipefitter will be responsible for supporting the delivery of a large scale installation project due to commence January 2026.

The project and therefore the contract is expected to be for a minimum term of 12 weeks.

Daily tasks will include working as part of a team of fitters to install aluminium pipework and associated mechanical fixings.

You will be supported by the project manager as well as on-site, senior installation engineers to ensure a high quality of work meeting drawing specifications.

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience in pipefitting is essential

• Exprerience of compressed air pipework installation (aluminium systems) - preferred

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities

• Ability to work effectively alone upon understanding of task

• Relevant certification or training to work under CDM control (including but not limited to: CSCS Card or equivalent, IPAF training and certification)

• High attention to detail

• Passion for delivering quality workmanship

Rates of pay are negotiable depending on relevant experience in this sector.
