We are partnering with a global asset manager to recruit a Product Management Manager, reporting into the Head of Product Management for public markets. This role is focused on the ongoing management, governance, and optimisation of existing fund ranges.

The role
You will play a key role in managing a suite of regulated public markets products (equities, fixed income, multi-asset), ensuring they remain competitive, commercially viable, BAU and compliant. Acting as the central liaison between investment teams, distribution, operations, legal, and compliance, you'll be responsible for product governance, lifecycle management, and implementing changes across the fund range.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day management of existing UCITS and other funds
  • Oversee fund governance processes, including board papers and regulatory reporting
  • Drive product reviews, competitor benchmarking, and commercial analysis to support product positioning and rationalisation
  • Manage share class launches/closures, fee changes, mergers, and other product lifecycle events
  • Act as product SME for internal stakeholders, providing insight and technical expertise to support distribution and client engagement
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with FCA, UCITS, and other regulatory frameworks
  • Support senior management with strategic product initiatives and presentations to governance forums

Key Requirements

  • Significant experience in product management within asset management, with a focus on public markets and across asset class
  • Strong knowledge of UCITS and UK regulatory frameworks (FCA, AIFMD, MiFID II)
  • Proven track record of managing product changes and lifecycle events
  • Commercially minded, with the ability to assess product performance and identify opportunities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, ability to build rapport with teams cross functionally
