About the Role
We are currently seeking multiple enthusiastic, self-motivated, and compassionate RBTs/Behavioural Therapists to join our growing team and provide home-based ABA (Applied Behaviour Analysis) therapy to children and young people.
All therapy programs are closely overseen by a highly experienced and supportive Board-Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA)/UKBA(Cert), ensuring consistent clinical guidance, supervision, and professional development.
Our ABA programs are evidence-based, individualised, and goal-oriented—designed to help children build and strengthen essential life skills across multiple developmental domains, including:
- Cognitive functioning
- Communication and language
- Social interaction
- Self-help and daily living
- Pre-academic and academic readiness
This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about working with children with autism or other developmental differences, and who are looking to make a lasting, meaningful impact on a child's life through structured behavioural intervention.
You will join a supportive and collaborative team of professionals and will receive ongoing training, mentorship, and opportunities for career growth within the field of ABA and behavioural therapy.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver 2–3-hour in-home ABA sessions, minimum twice per week per client (primarily after school hours and/or weekends).
- Provide 1:1 support to clients on a weekly or daily basis in line with their individualized ABA programs.
- Implement high-quality, individualized programs designed and supervised by a BCBA/UKBA(Cert), with ongoing weekly supervision.
- Use structured and data-driven methods to help children meet their developmental, behavioural, and educational goals.
- Take accurate and timely data during sessions to track client progress and inform program adjustments.
- Communicate client progress effectively with families, other therapists, and the supervising BCBA/UKBA(Cert), .
- Attend and participate in regular team activities including:
- Monthly workshops/ Weekly supervision sessions
- Team and case meetings
- Collaborate closely with parents, BCBA/supervisors, and other Behavioural Therapists to ensure consistency and continuity in service.
- Support the preparation of teaching resources and materials as required.
- Participate in overlapping sessions and peer observations to ensure program integrity and provide mutual support.
- Respect and maintain professional boundaries and follow all household expectations during home-based sessions.
- Maintain proper documentation, reporting, and administrative duties (e.g., data entry, session notes).
- Engage in initial and ongoing training, workshops, and professional development opportunities as requested.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to the ethical delivery of ABA services and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications & Attributes
We are looking for candidates who meet the following essential and preferred criteria and demonstrate a genuine passion for supporting children through evidence-based behavioural interventions.
Education & Certification
- Bachelor's degree or current enrolment in Psychology, Education, or a related field – (preferred)
- Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) certification – (preferred; training support available)
- Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate – (required)
- Safeguarding training (minimum Level 1 for children and adults) – (required)
- Membership with the UK Society for Behaviour Analysis (UKSBA) – (preferred)
- Holds professional liability insurance – (required)
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with individuals with special educational needs (SEN) – (required)
- At least 6 months of direct tutor/teaching experience – (required)
- Experience delivering Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) interventions – (preferred)
- Knowledge or experience in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) or structured teaching approaches – (preferred)

Logistical Requirements
- UK work authorisation – (required)
- Willingness to travel– approximately 25% travel required
- A full driving licence and access to a personal vehicle – (essential)
- Available to commit to a minimum of 2 sessions per week
- Willing to commit to the role for at least 12 months
What We Offer
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience: £12.00–£20.00 per hour
