We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our team in the UK. Based at our pharmacy location, this role is vital in ensuring safe medication dispensing and patient care, aligning with our commitment to health and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently while adhering to legal and safety standards.
- Provide expert advice to patients regarding their medications and health concerns.
- Monitor patient health and collaborate with healthcare professionals as needed.
- Manage inventory and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals.
- Educate patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions.
- Maintain detailed records of prescriptions and patient interactions.
- Stay updated with the latest pharmaceutical practices and regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Pharmacist, preferably with ICU experience.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, medication administration, and patient care.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
- Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) or equivalent body.
- Prior experience in a pharmacy setting is essential; ICU experience is highly valued.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
