Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented cleaning technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, mostly domestic houses, ensuring that all areas are spotless and welcoming. This role requires effective communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Initially this role is part time (2-3 days equivalent per week) and growing to 4-5 days over a couple of months.

Our clients are all over but we're looking now for covering Daventry and surrounding villages.

Responsibilities

  • Perform cleaning duties in assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
  • Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members to address any specific cleaning requests or concerns.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
  • Drive to various locations as required to perform cleaning tasks efficiently.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • A valid driving license is desirable for travel between different sites, your own vehicle.
  • A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract

Pay:

£13.68-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 12 hours per week and increasing to 35 hpw quickly if required.

Additional pay:

  • Increase to £14 ph after probationary period of 2 months.

  • 4-8 hours of jobs in a day
  • Day shift with morning and evening shifts available for commercial work in 2025
