Skilled Fabricator

RENOWN GROUP has an immediate permanent position for skilled fabricators working within the Renown Group of companies.

The role will involve:

• Working from engineering drawings to tight tolerances and deadlines.
• Fabricating components from 3mm to 50mm steel section & plate
• Operating MIG welding equipment
• Operating overhead cranes to assist with the assembly
• Working alone or as part of a team
• Working overtime when required
• Working shifts when required

All applicants must be competent operating all the following. If you do not meet all of these requirements you will not be considered:

• Operating sheet metal equipment such as press tools / guillotine etc.
• Operating MIG welding equipment
• The ability to mark out and fabricate without fixtures

The following skills are desirable but not essential.

• TIG welding
• Fork Lift licence
• First Aid Training

All successful applicants shall be means tested prior to employment.

Dayshift - 4 day working week.

Mon-Thurs 7am till 16.45pm.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £17.00 per hour
