Role: Senior Python QA Automation Engineer (Mobile)

Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Quality Analyst with strong expertise in web and mobile application testing, automation frameworks, and API testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Selenium (Python), Postman, SQL, and a solid understanding of quality assurance best practices. Exposure to fund accounting, fund administration, or wealth management domains is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute end-to-end testing of web and mobile applications.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium with Python.
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman, including validation of request/response payloads, headers, and authentication.
- Write and execute complex SQL queries to validate backend data and perform data integrity checks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a QA perspective.
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data.
- Identify, document, and track bugs; perform root cause analysis and regression testing.
- Ensure timely delivery of QA deliverables in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Provide QA metrics and status reports to stakeholders.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in manual and automation testing of web and mobile applications.
- Proficiency in Selenium with Python for automation.
- Solid understanding of API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Strong command over SQL for data validation and backend testing.
- Experience with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
Nice to Have:
- Domain knowledge in fund accounting, fund administration, or wealth management.
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
- ISTQB or equivalent certification.
