Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Greater Oxford Area for a skilled Mechanical Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving mechanical systems and components using computer-aided design (CAD). You will engage in research and development (R&D), provide technical expertise within multidisciplinary project teams, and oversee project management tasks while ensuring projects meet quality, budget, and timeline expectations.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design
  • Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and applications
  • Strong skills in Project Management and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of Research and Development (R&D) processes and methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required
  • Relevant professional certifications and prior experience in the construction or building services sector are advantageous
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
