The role

Our Producers frequently work to tight deadlines so you need to be able to work well under pressure. This role is perfect for someone who thrives working in a fast paced creative environment, has excellent organisational and time keeping skills.

We are looking for someone eager to support our Film and Content production team with experience working on commercials/branded content shoots. Someone who is passionate about film and advertising, and keen to learn and develop skills at the same time. Needs to have a roll-up-your-sleeves muck- in, can-do, positive attitude.

This would suit someone who is currently at a production company and wants to progress from an assisting / coordinating role to join a growing team, and knows the hard work of commercial production, and with a view to progressing to Production Manager in the near future.

This role requires enthusiasm and an independent and proactive work ethic. Someone who enjoys meeting and working with new people and thrives off the challenges working in production throws at them.

Key responsibilities

• Supporting the Producers & Production Managers in all daily production aspects - this means being extremely vigilant in keeping records up to date on the servers with castings, timing plans, latest scripts, storyboards etc. To attend meetings, shoots, recordings and edits with Producers to understand and learn the entire production process.
• Assisting with insurance, budgeting, purchase orders, estimates, invoicing and cost reconciliations on all productions.
• Liaising with the Producer and wider team at VCCP and externally in terms of sharing files throughout production – call sheets, contact reports, travel arrangements, artists travel, wardrobe etc.
• Crew coordination & negotiation of kit & supplier rates
• Ensuring that production meetings are booked in diaries and that paperwork is prepped and copied for conference calls or video conferences.
• Ensuring the artist contracts, child licences, fact sheets and music licences are all in place for every production and correctly stored on the servers.
• To learn from the Producers about production for digital, radio and tv commercials to eventually enable the production coordinator to attend some bookings without the Producer.
