Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Rochester, with flexibility for work-from-home arrangements. The Sustainability Consultant will
support the delivery of high-quality energy and sustainability assessments across residential and mixed-use developments. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of building energy performance, UK Building Regulations, and sustainability compliance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct SAP and Part L assessments for new and existing dwellings in line with current Building Regulations.
  • Produce and verify EPCs, BRUKL reports, and related compliance documentation.
  • Support design teams with energy and sustainability advice throughout project stages.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, and contractors to deliver cost-effective, low-carbon design solutions.
  • Contribute to sustainability strategies, energy statements, and planning reports.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Accredited
    OCDEA (On Construction Domestic Energy Assessor)
    certification (essential).
  • Proven experience with
    DSM (Dynamic Simulation Modelling)
    software such as IESVE or DesignBuilder (desirable).
  • Working knowledge of SAP 10, Part L, and associated UK compliance standards.
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Sustainability, Building Services, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
