Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Site Manager with experience in housing projects to oversee and coordinate operations on-site. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills and supervising experience, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. The Site Manager will be responsible for leading a team, managing resources, and liaising with various stakeholders to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily site operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Manage and supervise the site team, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Implement project plans using Primavera P6 for effective scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress, identifying any issues or delays and implementing corrective actions.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to specifications.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members regarding project status.
  • Prepare reports on site activities, including progress updates and incident reports.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a management role within the construction or related industry.
  • Strong supervising experience with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 or similar project management software is highly desirable.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
