Uxbridge England, United Kingdom General Mills Full time £40,000 - £70,000 per year

Great things are happening in the Europe and Australia (EUAU) region. Each day, our 2,500 plus colleagues bring their passion to our offices, manufacturing sites, R&D center, and commercial/distributor markets across Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. We are energized by over 150 years of bringing people together with the food they love. With beloved brands Old El Paso, Häagen-Dazs, Nature Valley, Betty Crocker, Fibre One, Latina Fresh and more, we are on a mission to become the undisputed growth leader in food for EUAU. In a world that's ever-changing, we look to stay ahead and seek people who share our love of food and are
hungry to shape the future.
About The Job
We're looking for a
Supply Chain Import Planner**
to join our team at General Mills. In this role, you'll be right at the heart of our logistics network, keeping products moving smoothly across borders and ensuring our customers get what they need, when they need it. From coordinating inbound shipments to managing customs documentation, you'll help make our supply chain more efficient, cost-effective, and future-ready.

If you're detail-driven, thrive on solving problems, and enjoy connecting the dots between people and processes, this is a fantastic opportunity to make an impact in a global FMCG business.

What Your Role Is
No two days will be the same — but you can expect to:

  • Coordinate inbound transport from factories, working with hauliers to plan efficient, on-time deliveries.
  • Collaborate with 3PLs and logistics partners to manage booking procedures and reduce overall logistics costs.
  • Stay ahead of potential delays, escalating issues and keeping everyone in the loop.
  • Keep inventory in check, identifying and resolving any stock discrepancies quickly and accurately.
  • Own the import process, ensuring documentation is complete and customs requirements are met for UK imports and ROI exports.
  • Partner with our Global Trade team to audit customs accuracy and maintain compliance.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, finding smarter, faster, and more efficient ways to move goods across the network.

What You Will Bring To The Team
We're looking for someone who combines precision with a proactive spirit — someone who loves turning complexity into clarity. You'll bring:

  • 2–3 years' experience in import/export or customs operations, ideally within FMCG or logistics.
  • A sharp eye for detail and the ability to balance speed with accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to spot patterns, fix issues, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Great communication skills, building strong relationships with hauliers, 3PLs, brokers, and internal teams.
  • A continuous improvement mindset — you're always looking for ways to make things run smoother, faster, and better.
