We are now recruiting for an
Electrical Design Engineer
to join our Engineering department.

You will provide engineering expertise on all electrical/electronic technical matters pertaining to the company's conversion business, including New Product Development (NPD) and Current Model Production (CMP).

Hours of work are
Monday - Wednesday, with flexible start times between 7am-8am
and finishing time between 5pm-6pm and Thursday, flexible start times between 7am-8am and finish time between 4.30pm-5.30pm
and the salary
is up to
£45k dependant on experience.

The Main Duties Of The Role Are

  • Design and development of new and existing vehicle conversion electrical and electronic systems (full lifecycle) from concept right the way through to manufacture / delivery
  • To amend designs/technical specifications/Bills of Materials (BOM)/documentation as directed through the Engineering Change Note (ECN) process
  • Manufacturing support during production implementation and as required for any Production/Warranty faults

To Be Effective In This Role, You Will Have

  • HND in electrical engineering or related subject or equivalent experience.
  • Experience of working in an automotive / manufacturing environment with an excellent grasp of electrical and electronic engineering and design principles.
  • Advanced computer literacy (Use of MS Office suite and other common office software)

Previous experience of working in the WAV/ coachbuilding industry would be advantageous but is not essential.
