24 hours per week 8.30am to 3.00pm Working four days per week (between Monday to Friday) Term time only

Salary: Grade D (Points Full Time Equivalent: £25,583 - £25,989 Actual Salary: £17,384 - £17,660

Fixed Term Contract for one Year until 31 December 2026

The Role

We are looking to appoint a flexible and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work with students who have been identified with additional needs to access learning. The successful applicant will be conscientious and possess the ability to communicate at all levels. Applicants will need to possess strong interpersonal skills and be able to demonstrate that they have excellent literacy and numeracy skills, as well as a calm, positive and encouraging personality. Relevant qualifications and experience would be an advantage but are not essential.

We want to hear from you if you have an interest in teaching or have had previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, volunteer, or youth leader with secondary aged children. The successful applicant will be a dynamic and enthusiastic individual who is able to make the significant contribution required to secure the very best outcomes for all students at The Corsham School. As part of our Induction Programme, full training will be given on our classroom procedures and protocols.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a rewarding role on a temporary basis, supporting pupils and staff during a period of absence and can be a great stepping stone into teacher training
