The QC operator is responsible for reviewing and ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and quality of packaging repro files before it goes for customer approval and then on to flexo plates. This role acts as a critical checkpoint between the repro team, client and plate manufacturing, ensuring that final deliverables align with the printers technical specifications.

About the role:

  • Review and Approve Packaging Repro Files:
     Verify layout, type sizes, colour separations, Technical drawings and printer specifications.
  • Approval:
     Provide clear and constructive feedback to repro operators and external vendors to improve future quality and workflow efficiency.
  • Continuous Improvement:
     Identify and implement process improvements in QA workflow working with the QA manager to reduce errors and improve speed-to-market.

Requirements:

  • Experience working within QC in a print, packaging and reprographics company
  • Knowledge of packaging repro and flexo printing
  • minimum 1 year experience working in a similar role
  • knowledge of Esko viewer would be an advantage but not essential
