Head Office - outskirts of Brighton (BN1 8AP) – This is an office-based role but will include regular travel (up to 20%) for events, courses and store visits.

Full Time hours per week

Salary circa £30,000 per annum

Role Profile

We're currently seeking an experienced Social Media Executive to join our team at our Head Office. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all social media channels and campaigns, producing engaging and valuable content for our audience of hair & beauty professionals.

Key Duties:

• Plan, create and deliver a social content calendar of engaging, valuable and relevant content aimed at hair and beauty professionals.
• Actively support stores social media pages to build local engagement and community and provide social media training sessions and support to stores.
• Respond to comments and messages across social media channels and drive daily community interaction to build a loyal, active audience.
• Confidently film and edit high-quality video content on video editing software for use across all social media channels and maintain a consistent posting schedule
• Support the Digital Marketing Manager with paid social creative briefs and ideation.
• Source and maintain new and existing relationships with creators in the hair & beauty industry for the purpose of creating brand or supplier user generated content.
• Attend events, courses and stores to film and produce content.
• Create monthly social media reports

This list isn't exhaustive, and we expect you to be a team player who will get involved in other elements of the business if required.

To be successful in the role you will have:

• Excellent content creation skills and extensive knowledge of social media platforms.
• Degree in Marketing, or relevant CIM qualification, or at least 2 years in a similar Marketing or social media role
• Previous experience within the hair industry, either working for a hair brand or as a hairdresser/educator/in a salon is preferred but not essential.
• Commercial mindset
• Ability to build effective relationships both internally and externally
• Ability to present to stakeholders at all levels
• Outstanding attention to detail
• Strong project-management skills; experience working cross-functionally with creative, buying/product and marketing teams
• Driving licence is essential to the role due to travel requirements
