Cyber Business Recoverability Programme Manager
Join a dynamic team dedicated to enhancing business resilience in a leading financial organization. This change programme is focused on ensuring that critical business functions can continue or be restored quickly in the event of disruptions such as ransomware attacks, aligning with regulatory requirements, risk appetite, and operational resilience goals.
As the Programme Manager, you will lead strategic efforts to support the cyber resilience initiative by improving recovery capabilities, making a meaningful impact on enterprise resilience and compliance.
You Will
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of the recoverability programme, including scope, planning, and execution across various workstreams
- Develop and enhance recovery strategies, policies, and frameworks in line with enterprise risk standards
- Collaborate with senior leaders to ensure effective oversight, stakeholder buy-in, and alignment across functions
- Design and run recovery exercises and simulations to validate plans and identify gaps
- Provide regular updates on programme progress, risks, and issues to senior management
- Ensure recoverability plans meet regulatory standards such as ISO 22301, FCA/PRA guidelines, and DORA
Required Skills
- Proven experience managing business recoverability programmes
- Knowledge of risk frameworks and industry standards (e.g., ISO 22301, FCA/PRA)
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Expertise in business impact analysis and recovery testing
- Ability to lead multiple workstreams under pressure
Nice To Have
- Financial services or tech sector experience
- Cybersecurity or incident response knowledge
- Recovery exercise design experience
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CBCP, ISO 22301 Lead Auditor)
Preferred Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Risk, or IT
- 8+ years in resilience or continuity roles
- Track record leading enterprise-wide programmes
Additional Requirements
- Based in London; 12+ days/month in-office
- Some travel may be needed
