We offer a £2000 welcome payment for qualified and experienced Social Workers (grade J and above), Practice Consultants and Team Managers new to Norfolk County Council. Amount to be repaid in full should they leave within two years of employment.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Manager in the Norwich Community Care Team providing statutory social work and occupational therapy services in our fine city. Whether you are an experienced social work manager or a senior practitioner looking for your next career development opportunity, we would like to hear from you. With strong social work values and a collaborative leadership style, you will have strong commitment to embracing integrated working within the Norwich Primary Care Network as our system progress its journey in becoming an Integrated Care System. You will be able to provide a strong social work voice and take pride in cultivating a culture of quality practice, open learning and service improvement. You will be joining a committed, supportive and energetic local management team and will have responsibility for leading on key locality portfolio areas, supporting a diverse staff group as well as managing a busy locality team focused on delivering a high-quality service. Quality support and supervision will be provided to you. 

Our technology platform and equipment are first class, enabling you to connect and collaborate remotely. We ask that you have in place good Broadband connectivity. Interviews will take place via video technology, where you will have the opportunity to discuss these working arrangements. 

Please note this post has a two week working pattern: 

Week 1 - 3 days per week working Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Week 2 - 2 days per week working Thursday and Friday.

The unspoilt countryside in this area includes the Waveney Valley, Thetford Forest and some incredible history dating back to Boudicca. This locality includes large rural towns at Dereham, Diss, Watton, Wymondham and Thetford.
