Job Description
What will you be doing?
We're seeking a talented individual to join our team in London. You will lead on various Learning and Development initiatives, which include leadership and management development programmes, corporate inductions, appraisal processes and colleague engagement surveys. Working with key stakeholders within HR and the wider business teams to successfully plan, lead and implement initiatives.
As Senior L&D Manager, your responsibilities will include among others:
- Lead management and leadership development initiatives, continuously reviewing to ensure they are appropriate, fit for purpose and meet the business needs
- Develop and update training materials
- Design and deliver learning solutions via multiple platforms; classroom, live online, recorded learning, webinars, videos etc
- Manage relationships with external suppliers to help design and deliver initiatives, managing within agreed budgets
- Building relationships with key internal stakeholders, providing guidance and support in people development
- Support the Head of L&D in the design, development, and delivery of the annual online appraisal process
- Support the Head of L&D with delivery of the colleague engagement survey including the creation of firm-wide communications, reporting and management of the survey platform
Qualifications
Skills And Experience
To be successful in this role, you should:
- Proven L&D experience, preferably working in an FCA regulated and/or a Professional Services environment.
- Ability to think commercially and apply knowledge pragmatically
- Strong communication skills with experience of creating and supporting communication plans and the ability to develop effective working relationships at all levels, in particular senior management
- Self-starting and able to get to grips with new projects and concepts quickly
- Highly methodical and organised, with an ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines, whilst maintaining accuracy and a high-quality output
- Knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
