The Role

We are looking for a Production Operative to support all aspects of our production and recycling operations. You will play a hands-on role in loading and unloading materials, operating machinery, maintaining housekeeping standards, and supporting the Production Team Leader to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production.

This is a varied role requiring flexibility, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate recycling and production equipment in line with SOPs and procedures
  • Support loading and unloading of materials and general site housekeeping
  • Transfer between different production roles as required
  • Complete visual safety checks before operating equipment
  • Monitor machinery to optimise running conditions
  • Support the Production Team Leader with shift updates and continuous improvement activities
  • Identify, weigh, record, and correctly dispose of regrind and waste streams
  • Accurately record production weights and complete documentation
  • Support initiatives to minimise waste and improve housekeeping standards

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • FLT Counterbalance licence
  • 1–2 years' experience in a production or manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work flexibly across multiple areas of the production process
  • Ability to work 4 on 4 off rotation of days/nights 5:45am-6pm / 5:45pm-6am
