We're looking for someone to lead the day-to-day delivery of our Youth Employment Hub in Kemptown. You'll be part of a dynamic team working with partners like the DWP, National Careers Service and local providers to support young people into positive destinations.

Fixed term for: 12 months to cover maternity leave

We're looking for someone to lead the day-to-day delivery of our Youth Employment Hub in Kemptown. You'll be part of a dynamic team working with partners like the DWP, National Careers Service and local providers to support young people into positive destinations.

The Hub offers a welcoming and inclusive space—both physical and virtual—where young people can access IT, Wi-Fi, tailored advice, and a range of activities to build confidence and employability skills. We get regular feedback from attendees to shape services, and we work with employers and training providers to connect young people to local opportunities.

As Youth Hub Coordinator, you'll lead the day-to-day delivery of this service, working with partners to support young people in making informed decisions about their future and accessing education, volunteering, employment, and skills training.

This role could be for you if you:

  • have a Level 2 qualification in Careers, Information, Advice and Guidance or equivalent experience.
  • are passionate about supporting young people to progress, and meet their aspirations.
  • have good knowledge of educational and employment pathways locally, and of the barriers facing disadvantaged and under-represented groups.
  • are confident engaging with young people and stakeholders to deliver impactful services.
  • want to work in a great location with like-minded professionals.

Your key tasks will be –

  • Managing the physical and virtual Youth Employment Hub, ensuring it's welcoming, inclusive and well-resourced.
  • Supporting young people with job searches, applications, CVs and confidence-building, offering advice, and signposting to support services.
  • Coordinating activities like Job Fairs, sector-based events and employability sessions.
  • Working closely with partners to connect young people to opportunities in education, volunteering, and employment.

Additional information

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
