The Role: Social Media Manager

Full-time. Mainly on-site in Newport with some remote days when it makes sense. You'll plan, create and manage content across multiple platforms for Octopod and a handful of clients. You'll shape strategy, produce assets, publish with pace and keep an eye on performance so we learn and improve.

What you'll do

  • Build and run content plans for LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok
  • Create scroll-stopping assets: short video, photography, snappy copy, quick edits
  • Track insights, report clearly and use data to make smarter calls
  • Jump on the right trends and ignore the noise
  • Work closely with our studio team so shoots and content align
  • Keep brands consistent while giving each its own voice

Must-haves

  • Solid experience in social media management
  • Strategy, scheduling and platform know-how
  • Strong camera skills: photo, video and quick edits
  • Comfortable with analytics and making decisions from data
  • Familiar with tools for planning, publishing and reporting

Nice to have

  • Experience with video podcasts or short-form content for creators
  • Email marketing know-how

The set-up

  • Full-time, primarily on-site at our Newport studio
  • Some travel to clients when needed
  • Not a remote-only role
  • Salary negotiable depending on experience
