Spring Meadows (Care) Limited a well-established Supported Living provider which runs two care homes in Swansea - Manorleigh House, Fairleigh House. The company is expanding its portfolio with another care home.

The General Manager position is designed to enable the company to continue expanding and improving their services. The manager will play an integral part in the senior management team, working together to push the homes towards an excellent CIW rating.

The position will involve the following roles in the three care establishments

· Will be overseeing all the three care homes (Manorleigh House, Fairleigh House and third care Home)

· Continuing to be registered Manager for Manorleigh House

· To take up registered Manager role (If and as needed) for Third care Home - For entity purposes, this will be under a different company (Spring Meadow Care Limited) but you will still be employed by the existing company (Spring Meadows (Care) Limited) As a General Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the operational functions of our facilities.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Organize and supervise administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.

  • Manage care and admin team and coordinate in different care homes of Spring Meadows Care Limited.

  • Assist with human resources functions including maintaining employee records and coordinating training sessions.

  • Support office management by handling correspondence, scheduling appointments, and managing supplies.

  • Communicate effectively with team members, residents, and external stakeholders.

  • Utilize QuickBooks for financial record-keeping and reporting.

  • Demonstrate team management skills to coordinate tasks efficiently.

  • Maintain professional phone etiquette when handling incoming calls.*Requirements:**

  • Proven experience in organizational support roles.

  • Strong supervisory skills to oversee administrative tasks effectively.

  • Proficiency in clerical duties and office management procedures.

  • Knowledge of human resources practices and procedures.

  • Excellent communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.

Duties involve

  • Resource management, analyse and coordinate with the care homes of Spring Meadows Care Limited and spring meadow care limited (To include staff requirements, bed management, stock and supply management)

  • Relationship Management – Internal and external members of staff, agencies (Social services, Care inspectorate Wales, District nurses e,c)

  • To facilitate, monitor and maintain documentation and training in line with the requirements of the organisation and CIW

  • To manage the operational facilities to include utilities, systems and procedures to keep the care homes functional, safe and comfortable for staff and service users. To include coordinating staff, tradesman etc

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £45,000.00-£49,000.00 per year
