Finance Assistant

Tonbridge

Salary Range - £30,000 to £35,000

This is an opportunity to join an experienced property investment group looking after several companies and a large private family office. Be part of a committed and successful team gaining industry experience and playing an important role for the group.

As Finance Assistant you will be responsible for:

  • Bank postings and account reconciliations
  • Entries and reconciliations on sales and purchase ledgers
  • Producing monthly payment lists
  • Other monthly tasks such as posting credit card statements
  • Reporting to operations team regarding outstanding debtors
  • Ad hoc requirements from the Finance Director

The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience of double entry bookkeeping and accounting software
  • Have strong numeracy and organisational skills, with the ability to work quickly and accurately
  • Be able to work to deadlines and prioritise and manage a busy workload
  • Have a proactive and 'can do' attitude to solving problems
  • Be proficient and quick in the use of MS Office Excel, and Outlook
  • Be willing to work as part of a team, providing support or cover for colleagues
