ServiceNow Developer – Leeds or Manchester (hybrid)

Salary up to £65,000 DOE + Bonus

I'm working with a long-standing client in the retail banking space who are working on an exciting ServiceNow transformation project. With a large customer base and significant digital operations, they're treating their technology platform as a strategic asset that will shape the next phase of their growth story.

The Role

They're looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer with hands-on platform administration expertise to lead the development and maintenance of their enterprise-wide ServiceNow instance. You'll be the technical authority who defines how the platform is configured, structured, and utilised across the entire organisation, working on high-impact modules including ITOM, ITSM, and TPRM. What you'll be doing

  • Developing and administering the ServiceNow platform including technical testing in non-production environments
  • Creating and maintaining platform documentation, including all modules and integrations
  • Defining configuration standards and best practices for ServiceNow development and administration
  • Working cross-functionally with IT, Operations, and business teams to ensure the platform drives business value
  • Acting as the subject matter expert on ServiceNow, proactively facilitating platform changes across departments
  • Identifying innovative ways to extract commercial value from the platform and improve service delivery
  • Staying updated on emerging ServiceNow capabilities and trends to drive continuous improvement
  • Engaging with third-party suppliers to evaluate, trial and onboard new ServiceNow plugins and modules

What you'll need

  • Experience working in regulated environments such as financial services – this background is essential
  • Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow modules including ITOM, ITSM, and TPRM
  • Proven track record developing and administering ServiceNow platforms including upgrades
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (essential)
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (essential)
  • Understanding of CMDB configuration and usage
  • Strong agile delivery methodology experience
  • Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills, comfortable engaging everyone from technical teams to senior leadership
  • Commercially astute with ability to identify business value opportunities

Nice to haves

  • Experience working with IRM, BCM, and operational resilience modules
  • Background in setting up ServiceNow from scratch
  • Track record of delivering multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced environments
