The Senior Analyst, Risk and Audit will be a key member of the Group Risk and Audit team and play a pivotal role in delivering Risk and Internal Audit services across Aristocrat. This position reports to the Director, Enterprise and Third Party Risk.

What You'll Do

  • Support the championing of procedure in governance, risk management, controls and internal audit to help improve the efficiency of risk management and controls across the business
  • Aid in coordinating and improving Aristocrat's Governance, Risk, and Compliance tools
  • Aid the organization in appraising risk oversight and governance while engaging in strategic exploration.
  • Help drive participation in the Business Resilience Program to ensure continuity in the face of crisis
  • Assist in delivering outstanding internal audits to assess the efficiency of processes and controls
  • Collaborate with the broader Group Risk and Audit team to enhance and support delivery of the company's overall risk management framework.

The role may require some travel to ensure effective execution of responsibilities.

The Successful Candidate Will Be a Proactive And Highly-motivated Individual Who Is Able To Manage Multiple Competing Priorities, And a Diverse Set Of Interested Parties. They Will Partner Closely With All Areas Of The Business Globally To Promote And Embed The Enterprise Risk Management Program Within Aristocrat, And Evaluate Their Management Of Risks Through Internal Audit. In Particular, The Senior Analyst, Risk And Audit Will

Risk

  • Support with the management and enhancement of Aristocrat's Governance, Risk and Compliance tools
  • Engage with the company to pinpoint, analyze, and manage present and future risks
  • Provide advice to the business on risk mitigation strategies and controls
  • Support the fostering of a risk aware culture within the organisation, including educating the business and finding opportunities to integrate risk principles into our ways of operating
  • Assist in the completion of key risk results on risk exposures, trends and recommendations for the Board, senior management and collaborators
  • Support delivery of risk-related projects
  • Support the business to maintain robust business resilience plans and deliver annual training and testing plans

Internal Audit

  • Deliver internal audits with support from our inhouse internal audit team and/or co-sourced internal audit provider to deliver the approved Internal Audit Plan (IAP)
  • Provide advice on effective process and control design
  • Manage follow-up of agreed management actions in a timely manner
  • Build and maintain engagement with the business to promote Internal Audit as a trusted and valued business advisor

What We're Looking For

  • Three years plus of applicable experience
  • Knowledge and/or experience of Risk Management and Internal Audit principles, tools and methodologies
  • Experience in gaming/technology organisations would be viewed favourably
  • Knowledge and Experience of Governance, Risk and Compliance tools would be viewed favourably.
  • Managed multiple interested parties and deliverables across tight deadlines
  • Excellent communicator and interpersonal abilities, with the capability to engage with collaborators of all levels
  • Able to work in a fast-paced team environment providing consistent, high quality output
  • Great teammate who contributes to creating a respectful, inclusive and fun working environment.
