We are looking for a MI PowerBI Expert with hands-on experience in DAX, Python, or Alteryx to join our analytics team on a 6 month fixed term contract basis. This role is essential in delivering premium quality, insight-driven analytics that support strategic and operational decision-making.

You will work with the MI and wider People Team to think creatively about solutions, deliver impactful dashboards and data models. You should be comfortable translating complex requirements into elegant, scalable, and actionable data analytics and insights.

You'll make an impact by:

  • Using stakeholder and business requirements to design, build, and deploy engaging Premium Power BI dashboards and data models.
  • Using DAX, Python, or Alteryx to develop calculations, data transformations, and workflows as needed.
  • Challenging existing thinking and offer innovative approaches to solving data and business problems.
  • Ensuring solutions are accurate, intuitive, and aligned with best practices in data visualisation and storytelling.
  • Working closely with the MI and the wider data engineering teams to ensure access to clean, reliable, and well-structured data sources.
  • Supporting performance tuning, version control, and change management of BI solutions.

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience designing and delivering solutions using PowerBI (including Power Query, data modelling, and report design).
  • Proficiency in at least one of the following:
  • DAX for advanced calculations and KPIs;
  • Python for data manipulation and automation;
  • Alteryx for data prep and workflow automation.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate requirements into meaningful analytics solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills able to confidently liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to "think outside the box".
  • Knowledge of Workday Reporting, Dashboards and Discovery Boards would be beneficial.
