We're on the hunt for a talented and enthusiastic
Game Designer (formally know as a Game Architect)
to join our fantastic
Game Development Studio
team in Sunderland. This isn't just a job; it's a chance to

What you'll be getting up to (a glimpse into your new role)
You'll be a key part of
our game development journey
. A typical day might look like this:

  • Researching and analysing qualitative/quantitative data to identify and evaluate new game opportunities.
  • Creating concept documents to help to gain approval to progress new game ideas.
  • Working with design and engineering stakeholders to refine ideas that appeal to players and maximize revenue.
  • Presenting proposals to the management team, managing feedback, and setting clear targets.
  • Contributing hands-on to the development process and analysing game performance data once live.

What we're looking for in you (your superpowers)

The Must-Haves:

  • Proven ability to analyse a range of data and conduct in-depth industry research to identify opportunities.
  • Expertise in identifying, refining, and deconstructing existing game ideas.
  • Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills.
  • Core behaviours demonstrating negotiation, pragmatic reasoning, and conflict resolution.

The Nice-to-Haves (bonus points if you have these):

  • Understanding of UX/UI, design, or animation principles.
  • Experience of building or working on gambling games.
  • Strong Business or Data analysis skills.
