Learning Support Assistant – Infant School (Horsham)

Location: Horsham

Salary: £89 per day

Contract: Full-time, Term-Time

About the Role

Are you passionate about supporting young learners in their early education journey? We are looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming mainstream infant school in Horsham. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the classroom and help children thrive in a nurturing environment.

What You'll Do
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils across Early Years and Key Stage 1
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging, inclusive lessons
  • Help children develop confidence, independence, and social skills
  • Support behaviour management using positive strategies
  • Contribute to the overall well-being and progress of pupils
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience working in a school setting (essential)
  • A valid DBS or willingness to obtain one
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Empathy, patience, and a proactive approach
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection
