At this time we cannot accept any students who don't reside in Aberdeen and all applicants must be available to work throughout December and Christmas/New Year.

We are looking for competent part-time or full-time bar staff to join our team.

**Duties:**

  • Provide outstanding customer service by serving beverages, taking orders, and engaging with guests in a friendly manner

  • Prepare and serve drinks according to established recipes and standards

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and cleaning glassware

  • Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders to customers

  • Uphold food safety practices and regulations to guarantee a safe dining environment

  • Assist in maintaining inventory levels and placing orders for bar supplies as needed

  • Work efficiently during peak hours to meet customer demands while upholding quality standards

  • Support other team members in various tasks to ensure smooth operations

**Requirements:**

Required:

  • Proficiency in basic maths for handling transactions and calculating bills

  • Experience in bartending or a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry

  • Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods

  • Knowledge of food safety protocols to maintain a hygienic environment

  • Familiarity with restaurant operations and providing excellent customer service

  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in a fast-paced setting

  • Be strong minded to work on their own

  • Previous experience in a public bar setting

  • Understanding of hospitality practices and customer engagement techniques
