We are looking for motivated, Multi-Skilled Engineer with extensive experience working within food manufacturing environments to join our team at 'the Gourmet Sausage'.

The role will focus on maximizing efficiencies by ensuring manufacturing downtime is minimized by continuously striving to improve the equipment to meet the operational needs of the business. As an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will resolve engineering issues and will be involved in the commissioning and implementation of new equipment at site. You will have to be able to provide a rapid response to breakdown situations and utilise time effectively to ensure known jobs are completed in a succinct timeframe.

Please note that the factory is a chilled environment.

Shifts available:

  • 4on 4off; 06:00-18:00; B Days
  • 4on 4off; 18:00-06:00; B Nights

Requirements, experience and person specification

  • Have experience of chilled food FMCG (preferred), worked within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Be qualified to HNC/NVQ Level 3 in any engineering discipline
  • Be Electrically biased or fully multi skilled
  • Be health and safety conscience (qualifications are desirable)
  • Preferably have worked with Handtmann, Reiser and Proseal machines
