Associate Product Manager

London Hybrid, 2 to 3 days per week in the Liverpool Street office

We are looking for an early-career Associate Product Manager to join the team and support our FX pricing product, working closely with our Data and Technology teams. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with a technical or analytics background who is looking to transition into product management. As an Associate Product Manager at FXC Intelligence, you will contribute to improvements across data collection, validation, APIs, dashboards and user interfaces, helping to power and expand our FX pricing offering.

What you'll be working on:

  • Gathering input from various stakeholders – such as our customers, sales team and operations – and translating it into product requirements, user stories, wireframes and acceptance criteria
  • Partnering with the Data Ingest team to improve data pipelines, data quality checks, error monitoring and performance
  • Working with Delivery and Visualisation teams to specify APIs, data contracts, dashboards and usage interfaces
  • Taking ownership of the end-to-end delivery of small to mid-sized features, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, QA/UAT and release coordination
  • Monitoring of key metrics, such as latency, data accuracy, usage and error rates, to drive improvements based on insights
  • Supporting stakeholder engagement, gathering feedback and validating feature ideas
  • Assisting with market research, competitive analysis and domain learning in FX/market data
  • Documenting product designs, data flows and API specs, and maintaining backlog in Jira or similar tools

You should apply if you have:

  • 1+ years in a technical, data or analytical role (e.g. Data Analyst, BI, Data Operations, ETL, Reporting, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with Python or SQL
  • Experience with data pipelines, APIs, relational databases or scripting
  • Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills
  • Clear communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • High attention to detail, ownership mindset and willingness to dive into ambiguity
  • Comfortable with Agile/Scrum workflows
  • A genuine interest in transitioning to Product Management

These skills will help, but aren't essential, as we can provide training:

  • Exposure to FX, financial markets or pricing engines
  • Experience in product management, for example, courses, side projects or internships
  • Familiarity with data visualisation tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, D3, etc.
  • Understanding JSON/ REST APIs, microservices

What can you hope to achieve in your first 6-12 months?

  • Deliver at least one feature end-to-end with minimal insight
  • Improve data quality/ latency metrics in a measurable way
  • Strengthen the collaboration between the Data Ingest and Delivery teams
  • Build trust with stakeholders through reliable delivery
  • Gain domain fluency and contribute to roadmap discussions
