Salary:
Up to £60,000 + benefits

We are looking for a talented UX Designer to join a collaborative in-house engineering and design team delivering complex browser-based web applications.

You will work alongside developers, designers, and stakeholders to create accessible, elegant, and scalable user experiences, helping to define the look, feel, and usability of high-impact internal tools used across the business.

What You'll Do

  • Design intuitive, user-focused web application interfaces used in professional environments.
  • Collaborate with engineers to deliver simple, consistent design solutions for complex data-heavy workflows.
  • Contribute to and evolve an internal design system and component library.
  • Champion accessibility and inclusive design practices across multiple projects.
  • Engage directly with internal stakeholders to translate user needs into functional, visually refined designs.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience designing web applications (not just marketing websites).
  • A strong, well-structured portfolio showcasing interaction design, accessibility, and UI craft.
  • Experience working in multi-project or professional/regulated environments such as law, finance, or healthcare.
  • Fluency in Figma (or similar tools) and confidence collaborating with developers.
  • Solid grasp of UX principles, component-based design, and accessibility standards (WCAG).
  • Bonus: Hands-on experience/understanding of HTML, CSS, or front-end frameworks to communicate effectively with engineers.
