Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Cybersecurity Specialist located in Basingstoke, with some work from home acceptable. The Cybersecurity Specialist will be responsible for monitoring and protecting the company's IT infrastructure, identifying and mitigating security threats, implementing security protocols, and conducting security audits and assessments. The role also includes collaborating with IT and other departments to ensure cybersecurity standards are maintained and providing training and support on cybersecurity best practices.
Qualifications
- Experience in monitoring and protecting IT infrastructure
- Skills in identifying and mitigating security threats
- Proficiency in implementing security protocols and conducting security audits and assessments
- Knowledge of collaborating with IT and other departments for maintaining cybersecurity standards
- Ability to provide training and support on cybersecurity best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CISM are a plus
- Experience in the automotive industry is a plus
