We're looking for a confident and collaborative Head of Integration to help us deliver seamless, high-quality integrations following Saltus acquisitions. This is a strategic role with a strong delivery focus where you'll work closely with our Director of Integration, the M&A Deal Team, and colleagues across the business to ensure acquired firms are successfully onboarded and aligned with the Saltus model.

What will I be responsible for?

  • Leading end-to-end integration projects, ensuring they deliver real value and support Saltus' strategic direction.
  • Partnering with the Director of Integration to shape plans, track progress, and report on risks and outcomes.
  • Coordinating workstreams across operations, compliance, finance, people, and other teams to keep everything moving.
  • Using and improving our integration playbooks and trackers to drive consistency and continuous improvement.
  • Building strong relationships with acquired firms, advisers, and internal teams — helping people feel supported and engaged throughout the journey.
  • Supporting cultural alignment and onboarding, making sure new teams feel part of Saltus from day one.
  • Championing the client and adviser experience, ensuring communications are clear, timely, and tailored.
  • Identifying and managing risks, contributing to governance and approval processes.
  • Travelling to acquired sites when needed to support delivery and build relationships.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Lead post-integration reviews, capturing lessons learned and success measures to inform future integrations.
  • Report on workstream progress and RAG status into governance forums ensuring accountability and visibility to the Director of Integrations.
  • Initiate integration planning from Heads of Terms, coordinating early engagement and due diligence inputs.
  • Support the development and refinement of a formal integration framework and playbook.

As Head of Integration, you would generally have:

  • Strong experience of leading M&A integration within the UK financial services, ideally private client wealth or financial planning.
  • A strong understanding of financial planning operations and the client journey.
  • Hands on experience with due diligence, data migration, and the end to end integration delivery.
  • A complete finisher with attention to detail and a track record of delivering results.
  • Excellent project management skills - you're organised, proactive, and great at juggling priorities.
  • Confidence working with data, systems, and cross-functional teams.
  • Brilliant communication skills - you're clear, engaging, and able to influence at all levels.
  • A collaborative mindset - you work well with others and know how to get things done in a matrix environment.
  • A passion for simplification - you make complex things feel manageable and actionable.
  • Flexibility and resilience - you're comfortable with change and thrive in fast-paced environments.

Saltus is a privately owned financial planning and discretionary investment management house. We are dedicated to providing a high-quality service for private clients, trusts, and smaller institutions.

Saltus Partners was founded in 2004 and has grown organically and through a small number of carefully integrated acquisitions. Originally the business started out as an investment manager and has now developed the financial planning side of the offering, putting this at the forefront of the client relationship.

Today Saltus manages and advises on over £9 billion of client assets, acquired through a combination of organic business growth and corporate acquisitions.

Where will I be working?

We're incredibly flexible about where, when, and how you work: we don't want anyone to be prevented from coming to work for Saltus as a result of the working pattern that they're looking for. You will be based out of our London office for two or three days each week, working the remainder of the week from home. You'll also need to be able to travel to our other office locations, as required by the role. The salary is between £85,000 - £105,000 depending on experience, alongside 28 days' holiday (plus bank holidays), life assurance, income protection, private medical insurance and a pension, alongside access to our flexible benefits platform. The role is 40 hours per week between the hours of pm.
