We're seeking a future team member for the role of Summer Intern to join our
CFO – Finance
team. This role is located in Manchester.

Summer Internship Program

The BNY Summer Internship Program provides high-potential students with a well-rounded, rewarding 10-week internship experience, as well as an inside look into what it is like to work for a global financial services organization that has been innovating and serving clients since 1784. Interns work on challenging projects, collaborate in teams, and build professional networks while gaining insight into BNY and skills required to be successful in the workforce.

From day one, summer interns are immersed in BNY's innovative and progressive company culture as they will receive:

• Enterprise-led intern orientation program combined with ongoing an executive speaker series and virtual training curriculum designed specifically for summer interns

CFO – Finance

As an Office of the CFO - Finance Intern, you will gain firsthand experience in the strategic financial operations that underpin BNY, a global financial institution. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work within high-performing finance teams responsible for ensuring the firm's financial integrity, supporting sustainable growth, and driving operational excellence across the enterprise.

You will be embedded within teams that support specific lines of business or corporate functions, contributing to initiatives that impact revenue generation, cost management, and financial planning. Interns will assist with financial and regulatory reporting, balance sheet analysis, capital management, and strategic planning, developing a comprehensive understanding of how a large financial institution operates at scale.

Key Responsibilities May Include

• Supporting financial planning and analysis (FP&A), treasury, investor relations, or tax functions
• Assisting with the production and interpretation of financial reports that guide decision-making by senior leaders
• Conducting data analysis to offer insights into business performance and opportunities for efficiency
• Collaborating across lines of business to evaluate financial results, risks, and growth initiatives
• Engaging in projects to automate processes and enhance productivity through the use of emerging financial technologies

Program Eligibility

• Enrollment in a 3-year undergraduate degree program with a high focus on business-related and/or technology-related majors preferred
• Graduating in Dec 2026 to July 2027
• Minimum 2:2-degree classification
